Frequently asked questions.
Do I need a formal ADHD or burnout diagnosis to work with you?
No diagnosis is required to benefit from coaching with me. Many clients come seeking support for focus, motivation, burnout, or life transitions, whether or not they have an official diagnosis. I welcome you wherever you are in your journey, and together we’ll focus on practical strategies and meaningful change, with or without a medical label.
Why do I need a specialist, trained ADHD Coach?
Many standard “productivity tips” and neurotypical strategies don’t work for ADHD brains and can leave you feeling more frustrated. A specialist ADHD coach understands how ADHD works and uses approaches designed for the way your brain actually functions. With this tailored support, you’ll learn practical strategies, strengthen executive-function skills, and build accountability that fits your life. The result: real, sustainable progress and the confidence to use ADHD as a source of strength.
Why do I need a specialist, trained Burnout Coach?
Burnout isn’t just “being tired”, it’s a cycle of exhaustion, overwhelm, and disconnection that generic productivity or wellness tips rarely fix. A specialist burnout coach understands the psychological and physical patterns behind burnout and helps you recover safely, rebuild energy, and set realistic boundaries. With trained support, you’ll learn sustainable strategies to prevent relapse, restore balance, and create a life where you can thrive instead of just cope.
What does an ADHD coach do?
An ADHD coach partners with you to understand how ADHD affects your daily life, work, and relationships. Together, we build practical tools and personalized systems to help you manage time, focus, tasks, and emotions, so you can reach your goals with less struggle and more confidence. ADHD coaching empowers you to work with your brain, not against it, unlocking real progress and greater self-acceptance.
What is burnout coaching and who is it for?
Burnout coaching is for anyone feeling chronically exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from work or life. I help you identify the causes of burnout, create healthy boundaries, restore your energy, and rebuild a balanced, sustainable life. This approach is especially beneficial for high achievers, helping professionals, caregivers, and anyone who’s been “pushing through” for too long.
What types of life coaching do you offer?
I offer strengths-based life coaching. Areas may include major life transitions, career change, self-management, goal-setting, work-life balance, confidence, well-being. Every session is tailored to your goals and unique strengths, so you experience measurable, meaningful progress.
Are your coaching sessions available online or in-person?
All coaching sessions are offered online via secure video call, making support accessible wherever you are. This allows clients worldwide, including those with busy or unpredictable schedules, to receive personalized coaching in a private, convenient setting.
Can you help with both professional and personal challenges?
Yes, coaching addresses the whole person, at work, at home, and in all areas of life. Whether you’re seeking career growth, better relationships, work-life balance, or improved daily routines, we can work together to achieve your goals and overcome barriers.
Do you offer coaching for adults, teens, or children with ADHD?
My coaching primarily supports adults with ADHD, including late-diagnosed individuals, students and professionals navigating work or life transitions. I also offer support to older teens and parents seeking guidance for family dynamics impacted by ADHD.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
Coaching is ideal if you’re motivated to make changes, ready to set goals, and open to trying new strategies. If you want future-focused, practical support that’s action-oriented and tailored to your needs, coaching could be an excellent fit.
What happens during a coaching session?
Coaching sessions are collaborative and goal-focused. We’ll review your progress, discuss current strengths and challenges, and co-create practical strategies for moving forward. You’ll leave each session with clarity, motivation, and concrete next steps.
How quickly can I expect to see results from coaching?
Many clients feel more hopeful and understood after just a few sessions. Sustainable change is a process and needs a commitment. As with many things in life, the more you engage, the more benefit you will gain. Most people see meaningful progress within 1–3 months, especially when they’re ready to engage consistently and apply new strategies between sessions.
How long does a typical coaching engagement last?
Coaching can be short-term or ongoing, depending on your needs. Some clients reach targeted goals in as little as 6-8 sessions; others appreciate continued support for ongoing growth or new life phases.
What kind of results have your clients experienced?
Clients often experience greater clarity, sharper focus, and renewed confidence as overwhelm fades and balance returns. Many rediscover lost energy, joy, and self-belief as real, lasting change takes root. My clients have launched businesses, earned promotions, gained academic accommodations, secured coveted course placements, completed long-dreamed-of creative projects, and finally cleared out years of overwhelming clutter, transforming both their lives and their sense of possibility.

If coaching isn’t the right fit, or I believe another professional (e.g., therapist, medical provider) would better serve your needs, I’ll always discuss my recommendations transparently and guide you toward the best next steps.
What is the difference between coaching, mentoring and therapy?
Coaching focuses on the present and future. A coach partners with you to set goals, build strategies, and create sustainable change. It’s collaborative, action-oriented, and designed to help you unlock your own potential.
Mentoring is when someone with more experience guides you by sharing their own knowledge, skills, and advice. It’s more about learning from their journey.
Therapy often looks at the past as well as the present. A therapist helps you process experiences, emotions, and mental health challenges in a clinical setting.
In short: therapy heals, mentoring guides, and coaching empowers you to grow and move forward.
I’m in therapy, can I do coaching at the same time?
Absolutely. Many people combine therapy and coaching for holistic support. While therapy addresses emotional healing and the past, coaching helps you take concrete steps toward your goals and create lasting change.
